Privacy Policy

SameShot is built to be private by default. Your progress photos are yours, they live on your device, and they stay there.

Your photos and data stay on your device

All photos, projects, notes, streaks, and settings in the SameShot app are stored locally on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to our servers or to any third party. We do not operate a photo cloud, and we cannot see, access, or recover your photos.

No accounts

SameShot does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, no email or phone number collection, and no profile stored anywhere.

No analytics, tracking, or ads

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or crash telemetry that identifies you.

App Lock and biometrics

If you enable the optional App Lock, unlocking is handled by your operating system's on-device biometric or passcode check (Face ID, Touch ID, or the Android equivalent). SameShot never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric data — the OS only tells the app whether the unlock succeeded.

Exports and sharing

Before/after exports, timelapses, and progress reels are generated on your device. They leave your device only when you explicitly trigger an export or share action, and then only to the destination you choose.

This website

sameshot.appynox.com is a static website. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. If you email us to join the launch list, your email address goes to[email protected] and is used only to send you launch updates. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Because the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
