Clear terms for a camera that keeps your photos.

1. Agreement

By installing or using the SameShot app, or by using this website and its browser tools, you agree to these terms. SameShot is developed by Appynox ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the app or the site.

The Android app is listed on Google Play as SameShot: Progress Photos(package com.appynox.morphly). iOS is in development and is not on the App Store. The website lives at https://sameshot.appynox.com.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and the website for your own projects — personal or internal — in line with these terms. You agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse-engineer or disassemble the app binaries except where the law allows it.
• Use the app or website for anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory or harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt the site or impersonate SameShot or Appynox.
• Redistribute the app from anywhere other than Google Play (or, later, the App Store) as if it were yours.

3. Your photos

You own the photos, videos, time-lapses, notes and project data you create. SameShot does not claim an interest in them. Because storage is local, we also cannot restore them if the device is lost, damaged, reset or uninstalled. Keep your own backups if the projects matter.

The browser tools run in your browser. They do not upload images. Exports you download from those tools are yours. See the privacy policy for the full picture of where files live.

4. What SameShot is not

SameShot is a framing and alignment camera. It is not medical equipment, not a body scanner, and not a coach.

• Visual changes in progress photos — weight, skin, hair, a wound, a bump — are not diagnoses.
• The app does not estimate body fat, score a physique, prescribe food or training, or retouch a body.
• On-device face and pose detection exist only to hold the frame. They are not identity systems and not clinical tools.

Health decisions belong with a qualified professional. The honest limits are also listed on theabout page.

5. The website and browser tools

The site and tools are provided free, with no account. They may change, break or go offline without notice. Do not rely on a browser tab as storage. Store photos you care about on your device or in a backup you control.

6. Stores, price and availability

Free on Google Play. iOS in development. Google Play's terms also apply when you download from there. We do not control outages, device compatibility or OS updates. The app targets current Android versions as stated on the listing; we do not guarantee every handset.

7. No warranty

The app, website and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appynox is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost photos, lost profits or lost data — including loss from a device reset, a failed backup, or uninstalling the app. Because we do not hold a copy of your photos, we cannot recover them.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes

We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
